How a Rune Set Is Made

From raw hardwood to finished runes — a peek at the laser, the sanding, and the beeswax.

Every rune set starts as a plank of hardwood and ends up as 24 smooth tiles that feel good in your hand. Here’s the short version of how it happens.

1. Cutting the tiles

The wood gets cut into tiles and sanded on every edge so there are no splinters in your pouch.

2. Engraving

Each symbol is laser-engraved one tile at a time. Watch it happen:

3. Finishing

The tiles get a final sanding and a rub of beeswax blend that brings out the grain and protects them for years of readings.
